How Myanmar’s resistance fighters train

The young fighters from the Garuda column don’t have many resources. They train in flip flops in dirt fields. As resistance groups fight for territory against the military junta, many battles take place in villages — taking house by house. To simulate these settings, resistance fighters train in makeshift bamboo and tarp structures complete with hinged doors and windows.
